Speaker/Topic for March 2010 meeting

We need some suggestions for a Speaker/ Topic for our next North Georgia Code Officials Association in March 2010. Instead of replying to my email, if you can just post a comment below it would be appreciated. This way everyone can see the suggestions.

How about somebody from from the department of labor to explain unemployment benefits – Just Kidding

@Walter H. Carter: Maybe a manufacturer rep of Pex or some other product.
I would still like to have someone go over the do’s and don’ts of commercial vent hood installations and the proper inspection of such systems. I will also try to get in touch with Andrea Papageorge about the legal aspects of inspections. Does anybody have their city/county attorney that would “volunteer” to do a program for us if she still isn’t able to? We also need to look at getting someone, such as Ron Anderson, etc., that we could pay to present a 4 hour class. The Northwest GA chapter has expressed an interest in going in with us to share the expense and maybe even have several 4 or 8 hour classes this year.
Many inspectors have not been properly trained in the legal aspects of the code. I think it is needed
We will be having a meeting on legal aspects sometime this year.
